MacroTracker Privacy Policy

1. Controller

EPSAIT is responsible for MacroTracker and for optional features operated through EPSAIT infrastructure.

2. Data stored on the device

By default, MacroTracker stores nutrition, meal diary, recipe, settings, body progress, reminder, and activity data on the user's device.

3. Optional features that may send data

• AI meal interpretation: entered text or selected meal photos may be sent to Supabase functions operated by EPSAIT to generate an editable estimate.
• Food search: search queries may be sent to food-data providers to return nutrition results.
• Google Drive backup: if enabled by the user, MacroTracker creates encrypted backup files in the selected Google Drive account.
• Diagnostics reports: if accepted by the user, anonymous crash and diagnostic reports may be sent to Sentry.

4. Health Connect

MacroTracker reads Health Connect data only after the user grants the relevant Android permissions.

5. Purposes

• Show calorie, macro, meal, activity, and habit progress.
• Calculate nutrition targets and weekly trends.
• Generate editable meal drafts when the user uses AI features.
• Create backups when the user enables Google Drive backup.
• Improve stability through anonymous diagnostics when the user allows it.

6. Sharing, sale, and ads

EPSAIT does not sell MacroTracker data and does not use Health Connect, nutrition, or photo data for advertising. External providers are used only to provide user-requested features or operate the app.

7. Retention and deletion

Local data remains on the device until the user deletes it, imports another backup, or uninstalls the app. Google Drive backups are controlled from the user's Google account. Diagnostic records are retained only as needed for technical investigation and security.
